Driver Training

The purpose of our BMW Advanced Driving Schools is to instruct students in the art of advanced driving technique which we can guarantee, you will not only enjoy, but it will make you a much better and more confident and safer driver for the street. Whether you have attended our schools before, or other similar schools, you can be assured that there is always more to learn and experience. Driving well all starts with a "feel" for the car. That is what you can expect to learn and develop.

You can expect to improve skills through excellent in-car instruction. Our classroom instruction gives you a series of lectures on a rotation basis throughout the weekend. We teach you in a classroom situation and reinforce that with on-track experience in your own car. When you are not in the classroom, you are on the skid pad learning accident avoidance techniques. Our instructors have been selected carefully and we are proud to say that they are among the finest anywhere.

Event Details

Before attending an on-track event, you are responsible for having your car inspected by a licensed mechanic. You are required to have that person sign our Technical Inspection Form to indicate that your car meets our safety requirements.

There is also a Waiver of Liability and Release to be completed - but not signed. This form includes a place for an emergency contact and medical conditions. Please include these. Present the waiver at registration where you will sign it in the presence of a witness.

You can download the forms below:

To open the attachments on this page, you will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software.

If you need further information please contact the Registrar.

Registration

Registration opens seven weeks prior to each event and closes the weekend prior to the event. This allows volunteer organizers to finalize the instructor - student pairing and to prepare the paperwork necessary for student orientation on the morning of the school. Remember, the organizers have full time jobs and have to fit these tasks into their personal time.

Trillium offers online registration. This easy-to-use system enables students and instructors to confidentially register for one or more of our Advanced Driving Schools.
